The first installment of AMG Dirty Dozen for October offers you a suitably garish grab-bag of wild cinema from around the world. You get a couple of hard-hitting poliziotteschi flicks from Italy, some martial arts action from Shaw Brothers studio in Hong Kong and an unforgettably surreal and perverse monster flick from Japan. Elsewhere, you get a Blake Edwards comic quickie from the ’80s, a quirky experimental film refashioned into a Crown International drive-in flick and a post-apocalyptic popcorn muncher aimed at teens.
