English produced genre fare is the theme in May’s second and final AMG Dirty Dozen. Hammer Studios carries the day here, with nine titles that cover the gamut from shocking foreign-set adventure fare to pirate movies to underrated adaptations of Dr. Jekyll And Mr Hyde and Phantom Of The Opera. To round things out, you also get a vintage Amicus horror anthology, an English-made Poe adaptation and one of those fun U.K.-produced Edgar Rice Burroughs adaptations from the ’70s.
