42ND STREET FOREVER: THE PEEP SHOW COLLECTION, VOL. 9: A Frolicsome Foursome And Much More

Impulse Pictures has just issued its ninth volume of 42nd Street Forever: The Peep Show Collection, a collection of film loops from the orgiastic heyday of adult cinema. Despite the advanced volume-number of the series, there's no shortage of carnal celluloid for it to exploit. Loops are seemingly the bottomless resource of the adult film world and each volume of this series turns up a few fun novelties amidst the expected acres of flesh.As usual, 42nd Street Forever: The Peep Show Collection, Vol. 9 is broken down into three sets of five loops. Each set is organized under a particular category: boy-girl, three or more and lesbian. The boy-girl section gets off to a rip-roaring start thanks to an appearance from a typically voracious Vanessa Del Rio. It also features an amusing story-themed loop where a lascivious lass wills a naked male pinup into existence to satisfy her needs.The highlight of "three or more" section is a foursome loop that includes Herschel Savage, Del Rio, Richard Bolla and C.J. Laing. It's a veritable summit meeting of regulars from New York's mid-to-late '70s adult film scene and each of the four delivers all the indoor fireworks you could want. The "lesbian" section that closes the disc adds a few further dashes of sex star-power with appearances from Juliet "Aunt Peg" Anderson and Kandi Barbour.All in all, this set offers two hours' worth of bump-and-grind. The finishing touch is an insert booklet with liner notes from porn scholar/eternal horndog Robin Bougie, who quotes some interesting interview material from Jamie Gillis and offers some fascinating if tragic biographical information on Barbour. If you're a fan of this series, this is another solid entry.
