Schlock-Wire: Shout! Factory Goes To Battle With A GORDON'S WAR/OFF LIMITS DVD Double Feature
Here's some fun news for catalog-title collectors: Shout! Factory will continue its exploration into the 20th Century Fox film vaults with a new release that exhumes a pair of films with a Vietnam War focus. The first film is Gordon's War, a blaxploitation fave that features Paul Winfield as a soldier who returns from war and decides to clean up his crime-ridden neighborhood. It's paired with Off Limits, a higher-profile item from the 1980's that features Gregory Hines and Willem Dafoe as military cops trying to end a murder spree in war-torn Vietnam.
