Here's a bit of great news for fans of celluloid satire: Kentucky Fried Movie will be making its blu-ray debut in July, courtesy of Shout! Factory. This hilarious and irreverent satire of television, movies and commercials was an important early credit for director John Landis and was the film writing debut for the Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker team that would later take the cinematic comedy world storm with Airplane! and The Naked Gun.
