Schlock-Wire: Kino Kola's CARNIVAL OF SOULS/CIRCUS OF FEAR Double Bill Is Back On For 6/16 In Tallahassee

Last week was an up-and-down one for Kino Kola, Tallahassee's new outdoor double-feature screening series.  The latest double bill was announced with great fanfare for last weekend but had to be canceled when Mother Nature intervened with a less-than-timely downpour.  Thankfully, the All Saints Hop Yard found a little more time in its busy schedule to give the show a second chance. This means movie mavens who live in the Tallahassee area will be able to take in a little "Bedlam At The Big Top" on Saturday, June 16th.  The show will consist of Circus Of Fear, a colorful murder mystery set against the backdrop of the title location, and Carnival Of Souls, an amazing mixture of b-movie and arthouse fare made by a filmmaker who otherwise spent his career making classroom educational films.  If you want more details on the latter, Mark Hinson of the Tallahassee Democrat penned a full-length write-up of Carnival that can be checked out here:http://www.tallahassee.com/article/20120608/ENT/206080312/Take-strange-road-trip-creepy-Carnival-Souls-Schlockmania hopes all the local movie mavens can check out this show.  It costs a mere four dollars.  All Saints will have a variety of craft beers and wine on sale plus there will be all manner of concessions: fresh-popped popcorn, Moon Pies, candy bars and more.  Check out the poster below for all the delirious details - and we'll see you at the show.
