Here’s a little release-day tip for sleaze fanatics and Mondo Macabro types: Synapse Films has just released The Nikkatsu Trailers Collection (also known as the Nikkatsu Roman Porno Trailers Collection) through their sexploitation-oriented sublabel, Impulse.  As the titles indicate, this set collects a series of trailers for the wild sexploitation fare that Japan’s Nikkatsu Studios released during the 1970’s and 1980’s.  Please note that despite the presence of the word “Porno” in the title, this set does not contain any hardcore pornography… but Japan’s unique, frequently disturbing take on the genre is likely to shock those viewers with delicate sensibilities.  Read on for all the sexy-shocker details, including a full list of titles and a description of the extras…
